Original Department of Agriculture Building The original building which housed the <a href="http://mallhistory.org/items/show/289">Department of Agriculture</a> was designed in 1867 by <a href="http://mallhistory.org/items/show/70">Adolf Cluss</a>, the same architect who designed the Smithsonian Arts and Industry Building.
